What to Expect During the Workshop:
Understanding Stress and the Nervous System: We’ll discuss what stress is, its physiological and psychological impacts, and the science behind the stress response in detail. I'll present an overview of what the nervous system is, the different parts and how the nervous system affects our physical and emotional states and its impact on overall health.
Interactive Discussions: Participants will have the opportunity to share their experiences and insights, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
Breathwork Techniques: I will teach 5-6 different stress reducing breathwork practices and the science behind each. We will practice together. I intersperse the science of diaphragmatic breathing, nasal breathing, vagal toning, management of oxygen/carbon dioxide, benefits of heart centered breathing/positive emotions between each practice.
Q&A Session: We’ll wrap up with a Q&A session, allowing participants to ask questions and discuss specific stress management strategies that resonate with them.
This workshop is designed for anyone looking to better understand their stress and find practical ways to cope. No breathwork experience is necessary. Hopefully participants will leave with valuable insights and techniques to enhance their well-being.

Workshop: Reset Your Internal Clock — The Power of Circadian Biology 5.17.26
Your body is designed to live in rhythm with the natural cycles of light and dark. Every cell in your body operates on a 24-hour biological clock—your circadian rhythm—which regulates sleep, hormones, metabolism, energy, and cellular repair. Light is the most powerful signal that sets and maintains this rhythm throughout the day.
In this workshop, you’ll learn how natural light programs your biology and why aligning your daily habits with the sun is essential for optimal health. We’ll explore how sunrise sets your internal clock, how different wavelengths of light throughout the day support healthy cellular function, and why modern exposure to artificial blue light at night can disrupt sleep and many key biological processes.
We’ll also discuss the concept of a healthy “light diet,” including the stages of natural light throughout the day—daybreak, sunrise, UVA rise, UVB rise, solar noon, afternoon light, and sunset—and how each phase plays a role in regulating your body.
